COLOMBO :The country-wide travel restrictions currently in force will not be lifted on the 31st of May and the 04th of June, says Commander of Army General Shavendra Silva.
The prohibitions will accordingly continue until the 7th of June, the Army Chief noted.
However, members of the public will be allowed to purchase essential goods and medicines through mobile services conducted via Divisional Secretariats and & District Secretariats.
