
COLOMBO: The Travel Agents Association of Sri Lanka(TAASL) launched a Membership Privilege Card for its Members in Colombo on Thursday, Feb,24 under the patronage of its President Sabry Bahaudeen,
The personalized membership card offers Members multiple administrative, business and privilege services through CH17 Loyalty, the company administering and managing the loyalty platform.
Bahaudeen received the first copy of the card from the CH17 Chief Executive Officer, Jumar Preena which flagged off the event at the Colombo Seven Jetwing Hotel in the midst of a distinguished gathering on Thursday.
Spelling out the importance of the new Privilege Card, Bahaudeen said that holders of the card will be entitled to a heap of benefits including purchases at discounted prices from accredited merchants’ outlets.
A special feature of the membership program is to facilitate the Members to upload a scanned image of their Covid-19 vaccination card or their International Vaccination Certificate to the system which will thereafter generate a unique QR code and printed on the member’s card,” Bahaudeen said, pointing out that the QR code can be scanned and read on any type of universal reader without restriction.

The Travel Agents Association of Sri Lanka (TAASL) marks a milestone in its 48-year history as the National Travel Agents body in the country, founded on October 22, 1974 and it represents the interest of 149 outbound travel agents in Sri Lanka.
