COLOMBO – The Waqf Board has donated 10 million rupees for the reconstruction of religious buildings damaged by recent natural disasters.
The Chairman of the Waqf Board, M.L.H.M. Hussain, officially handed over the cheque to the Deputy Minister of Religious and Cultural Affairs, Muneer Mulaffer on Monday, December 15 at Muslim Religious and Cultural Affairs Department.
The event was attended by the Director of the Department of Muslim Religious and Cultural Affairs, M.S.M. Nawaz, Deputy Director Ala Ahamed and a delegation including members of the Waqf Board.
