COLOMBO :
The Embassy of the Republic of Türkiye in Colombo, in collaboration with the Daily Mirror and sponsored by Beta Tea, organized essay and arts competitions titled “My Memorable Ramadan Experience” for children aged 7-15 during Ramadan.
This marked the second consecutive occasion on which the Embassy has conducted this competition.The awards ceremony took place at the Auditorium of the Western Provincial Council on Friday, 10th April, with the participation of Hon. Hanif Yusoof, Governor of the Western Province of Sri Lanka; Hon. Dr. Rizvie Salih, M.P., Deputy Speaker of the 10th Parliament of Sri Lanka; Hon. Muneer Mulaffer, Deputy Minister of Religious and Cultural Affairs of Sri Lanka; H.E. Ihab I. B. Khalil, Ambassador of the State of Palestine; H.E. Badli Hisham Adam, High Commissioner of Malaysia; and Ms. Zunaira Latif, Chargé d’affaires of the High Commission of Pakistan.The list of winners is as follows:
