COLOMBO — The Sri Lanka Press Association celebrates its 69th Anniversary Convention and D.F. Kariyakarawana Memorial Journalism Awards Ceremony was held at Sri Lanka Foundation Institute, Colombo on Tuesday December 17. It was held under the patronage of President of the Association Kurulu Koojana Kariyakarawana.
Ten media personnel received awards from chief guest Deputy Minister of Health and Media Dr. Hansaka Wijemuni for contribution to the media field.
Daya Lankapura, V. Thanabalasingham, Mrs. Sheela Wickramasinghe, P.B. ILangasinghe, Upali Arambewela, N. M. Ameen, Stanley Samarasinghe, S. S. Selvanayagam, Thushitha Malalasekera and Alexander Balasuriya.
