TOKYO – The Sri Lanka Automobile Exporters Association in Japan, SLAAJ,gifted a car to Rumesh Tharanga,who won the gold medal in the men’s javelin throw at the Asian Games 2026, becoming the first Sri Lankan athlete ever to win an Asian Games gold medal in javelin throw.
On behalf of the SLAAJ, its president, Umar Ali Hider Ali ,who is also the president of Kobe Motor Company Ltd ,Japan .,a leading automobile exporter around the globe for the last 32 years .
