COLOMBO The Sri Lanka Association of Administrative and Professional Secretaries (SLAAPS) hosted its Secretaries’ Fellowship Night 2026, in celebration of International Administrative Professionals Week at the elegant Victorian Hall at The Kingsbury, Colombo recently.
Held under the theme “Walk It Like You Talk It – A Trailblazing Experience,” the evening embodied a powerful message of action, leadership, and purpose. David Pine, High Commissioner of New Zealand, added prestige to the occasion, underscoring the growing recognition and importance of administrative professionals in today’s dynamic workplace.
A key highlight of the night was an inspiring talk show featuring Dr Sulochana Sigera, Ms Adhisha Dahanayake, and Ravi Uduwela. Through their personal journeys and insightful reflections, they encouraged attendees to transform ambition into meaningful action and lead with intention.
The event also highlighted SLAAPS’ commitment to supporting future talent, with a scholarship awarded to a young professional to pursue a Diploma in English, advancing her career and personal growth.
