The Rotary Means Business (RMB) Fellowship Sri Lanka Chapter successfully holds its Installation and International Business Night

COLOMBO –The Rotary Means Business (RMB) Fellowship Sri Lanka Chapter successfully held its inaugural Installation and International Business Night on Thursday July 24 at Cinnamon Life, Colombo. The event, the first of its kind in the history of Rotary in Sri Lanka, saw the formal installation of the chapter’s Charter Board and brought together a significant gathering of diplomats, chamber heads, and corporate leaders.

The evening was marked by insightful addresses from key Rotary leaders. District Governor Delvin Pereira spoke on the history and global reach of the Rotary Means Business fellowship. Immediate Past District Governor Sushena Ranatunga, in his address, emphasized the need for Sri Lanka to focus on its unique strengths, to develop economic growth in niche sectors where the nation can successfully compete on a global scale.

The keynote address was delivered by the International Chair of RMB, Rajamohan Dhandapani, who commended the chapter for orchestrating a true milestone for Rotary District 3220.

Newly installed Chairman V. Kantheepan, in his inaugural address, defined a bold vision for the Charter Board’s three-year term. He stated that the chapter’s vision is to connect Sri Lanka to the world and that the board will build on the event’s momentum by fostering connections aimed at creating business opportunities, launching skills development programs for members, and expanding the network nationwide.
