The MKS Group of Companies Contributes to Rebuilding Sri Lanka Fund Through Sri Lankan Mission in Melbourne

MELBOURNE : The MKS Group of Companies in Melbourne made a generous financial donation of A$ 30,000/- (LKR 6,027,039.00) 2025 to the ‘Rebuilding Sri Lanka’ fund established by the Central Bank of
Sri Lanka to support the rebuilding and resettlement efforts for the victims affected by the floods
and landslides in Sri Lanka caused due to Cyclone Ditwah.
The donation was formally presented to Consul General Pradeepa Saram by Group CEO of MKS
Group of Companies, Siva Navaneetharaja and Director MKS Spices’n Things, P. Navaneetha
Rajah at the Consulate General Office.
The MKS Group is a prominent business conglomerate primarily associated with two distinct,
successful businesses. The MKS Spices’n Things, is a well-known and highly-rated chain of grocery
stores with fast-food outlets in greater Melbourne which caters to the Sri Lankan and broader
community in Victoria.
Consul General Saram while thanking for the generous financial contribution made by the MKS
Group of Companies, expressed her sincere gratitude for this timely act of generosity and remarked
that Sri Lankans, community organizations, well-wishers and Australians of Sri Lankan origin
across Australia have contributed to the ‘Rebuilding Sri Lanka’ fund remarkably either
individually or collectively, in support of disaster relief efforts.
