The Memon Humanitarian Society Conducts Free Eye to mark the 159th Anniversary of Sri Lanka Police

COLOMBO — The Memon Humanitarian Society organized a Free Eye Check – up Camp at the Keselwatte Police Station  Colombo 12 to mark the 159 years of Sri Lanka Police on Wednesday September 3.

 A Free Eye Checkup and 280 Reading Glasses were distributed for deserving people of the area. 
ASP Colombo Central Hemantha Wijewardena and Keselwatte Police Officer in Charge Sujith Priyantha thanked the organizers for holding the event.  
Memon Humanitarian Society President A. L. Anver along with Admin OIC Vijitha Kumara, Community Police OIC R.A.C. Ranathunaga, Dr. M.A.C. Kamaldeen, Community Police Community President S.S.M. Hassan and Ayoob Cader were also present. 
In addition, Dr. Mohamed A. Afzal tested blood sugar, blood pressure, and subsequently provided medical advice for the patients. The eye clinic distributed spectacles free of charge for deserving patients.
