COLOMBO — The 60th Independence Day of the Republic of Maldives was held at the Cinnamon Life at City of Dreams on Tuesday July 22.
It was held under the patronage of High Commissioner of Maldives Masood Imad.
Wasantha Samarasinghe, Minister of Trade, Commerce, Food Security and Cooperative Development was present as the chief guest.
Deputy Speaker of Parliament Dr. Rizvie Salih, Secretary, Ministry of Defence Air Vice Marshal Sampath Thuyacontha, Former Maldives President Dr. Mohamed Waheed, Diplomats, Members of the Defence Forces, Maldives Embassy Officials and Foreign Ministry officials were also present.
