RATNEPURA : The hill country Malayagam community have made a financial donation of Rs. 1 million to the government’s ‘Rebuilding Sri Lanka’ Fund to provide relief to those affected by Cyclone Ditwah.
The relevant cheque was presented by Mr. S. Dayalan, Vice President of the இரத்தினபுரி உதவும் கரங்கள் அமைப்பு (Ratnapura Helping Hands) Association, representing the Malayagam community to the Secretary to the President, Dr. Nandika Sanath Kumanayake, at the Presidential Secretariat, Wednesday, Dec. (24).
Deputy Minister of Plantation and Community Infrastructure , Sundaralingam Pradeep, Secretary of the Association, R. Manoharan, Women’s Organizer, G. Manoranjidam and S. Sivanesan were also present at this event.
