COLOMBO — The Hameedians Football Club has organised an Exhibition Football Match among the old boys over 55 + Soccer Legendws to mark the 141st Anniversary of the Hameed Al Husseinie College.
Media briefing and Jersey Launching Ceremony was held at the Hameed Al Husseinie College A.H.M. Fowzie Hall on Friday November 14 under the patronage of President of the Hameedians Football Club Aadhil Aboobucker.
Two teams played their Maroons Vs Golds on Sunday November 16th at 3.30 p.m. at the City League Grounds, Colombo.
Project Chairman Imran Hussain briefed the history of Hameed Al Hussain College football past and present situation. He also praised past teachers who contributed to College Football and some of them were felicitated and presented a token of appreciation at this ceremony. Also they aunched the Jersey at this event.
Old Boys Association Secretary Imtiaz ILLyas, OBA Education Committee Chairman Azrin Zahir and Mohamed Zulfikar also addressed the gathering.
Light for Life Directors Faizal Buharie, Hifaz Farook , Hameedians FC Secretary Rizwan Hilmy and members were also present. Ramzan Ibrahim proposed the vote of thanks.
