The Ceylon Boxing Federation (CBF) launches its official Website

COLOMBO – The Ceylon Boxing Federation (CBF) launched its official Website at the Lavender Hall, BMICH, Colombo, on Saturday December 28.

This historic event brought together approximately 125 veteran boxers from across the island, representing decades of dedication, sacrifice, and achievement in Sri Lankan boxing. Federation’s core mission to recognize, protect, and empower those who laid the foundation of the sport, while creating meaningful pathways for future generations. The Ceylon Boxing Federation was established with a clear vision to serve as a unifying body for veterans.

President of the Federation Dushantha Kiriella delivered the welcome address at the ceremony.

Honorary Consul of Georgia and former President of the Boxing Association of Sri Lanka Dian Gomes were present as chief guest.

SSP Rohana Ajith, (1st Vice President ) of the CBF, Member of the Advisory Committee Marshad Barry and Ikram Odayar also addressed the gathering.

Chief Guest of the Ceremony Dian Gomes launched the Official Website along with President of the CBF Dushantha Kiriella.

Also held Induction of the New Advisory Committee and Executive Committee Members at this event and President of the CBF Dushantha Kiriella presented a token of appreciation to Dian Gomes.

Secretary, Ceylon Boxing Federation Major (Rtd) Mahinda Hettiarachchi and Members were also present.
