COLOMBO : The All Island Inter-School Islamic Day 2025 organized by Isipathana College, Colombo, was held on Monday October 6 with the participation of over 1,100 students representing more than 60 invited schools from across the island.
The event featured a series of competitions, including Oratory, Essay Writing, Qirath, Hifz, Quiz, Debate, Calligraphy, and Qaseeda, providing a platform for students to exhibit their knowledge, skills, and Islamic values. The program aimed to promote unity, discipline, and intellectual excellence among school communities.
A special note of appreciation was extended to the Student Executive Committee members — Ahamed Saif, Umar Ziyan, and Aaqib Nazran — for their exceptional contributions, as well as to the Principal, D.P. Udawattage, Master-in-Charge, A.L.M. Akram, and Event Coordinator, Imran Khan, for their invaluable guidance and support. The dedication of all committee members and volunteers played a vital role in ensuring the success of this remarkable event.
