COLOMBO : A 52-year old Sri Lankan arriving from Malaysia has been arrested by the CID at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) for defrauding around Rs. 1,800 million from several persons through a pyramid scheme and fleeing the country a year ago.
His wife, who had arrived at the airport to receive him, has also been arrested, Police Spokesman DIG Nihal Thalduwa said.
