COLOMBO : The Supreme Chamber of Youth Governance (SCY-GOV) Governing Council members have launched a relief project to distribute dry rations, lunch parcels, and sanitary materials to families in flood-affected areas.
As the first initiative, 200 lunch parcels were distributed to residents in the Peliyagoda area.
The project was led by the Chairman, General Secretary, General Treasurer, Governors, Youth Council members, and Coordinators, who actively participated in the distribution efforts.
The Chairman and the Governing Council members extended their heartfelt thanks to all the donors who supported this project. They emphasized that such generous contributions were vital in successfully reaching out to flood-affected communities and reaffirmed their commitment to continuing service-oriented initiatives through SCY-GOV.
