Supreme Chamber of Youth Governance (SCY-GOV) Distributes 150 Ramadan Dry Ration Parcels under the sponsorship of Indian High Commission

COLOMBO – The Supreme Chamber of Youth Governance (SCY-GOV), in collaboration with the High Commission of India in Sri Lanka, organized a Ramadan dry ration distribution programme to support families in need during the holy month of Ramadan.

The programme was held at the premises of Al Nasser College premises on Monday, March 16, where around 150 dry ration parcels consisting of essential goods of significant value were distributed. The dry rations were generously sponsored by the High Commission of India in Sri Lanka.

The programme was held under the leadership of Supreme National Chairman Umair Nawshad and Supreme General Secretary Zamil Shafeek of the Supreme Chamber of Youth Governance (SCY-GOV). The organizing team also included Director General Zahra Rizmie, National Organiser Musthaq Hussain, and Governing Council Members Fawzil Abdul Rahuman, Mushab Muhammad, Musharaf Hussain, and Mahdhi Rizwan.

The patrons of the Supreme Chamber of Youth Governance (SCY-GOV), Ruzaik Farook and Razmi Rafeek, also extended their support for the initiative.

The Chairman, Secretary, and the Governing Council of the Supreme Chamber of Youth Governance (SCY-GOV) expressed their sincere gratitude to His Excellency Santosh Jha, High Commissioner of India to Sri Lanka, and the High Commission of India for their generous sponsorship and support towards the Ramazan dry ration distribution programme.

The Supreme Chamber of Youth Governance (SCY-GOV) stated that such initiatives aim to assist underprivileged families during the holy month of Ramazan while promoting humanitarian values and social responsibility among youth.
