COLOMBO : Colombo Magistrate Court on Thursday, Aug.4 remanded Joseph Stalin, the General Secretary of the Ceylon Teachers’ Union, until 12th August.
The Magistrate also ordered that Venerable Koswatte Mahanama Thero be remanded until Friday. Aug.5.
Both suspects were arrested by the Fort police on 28th July over several charges including holding of demonstrations in violation of a Court order.
