COLOMBO – The opening ceremony of the Main Hall of the St. Sebastian Sinhala Maha Vidyalaya in Colombo was held on Thursday June 27 and funded by former Provincial Councilor Nawzer Fowzie from Saeeda Foundation in Dubai. It was held under the patronage of Principal of the School Roshani Preena Raban.
Member of the Parliament A. H. M. Fowzie opened the main hall along with the presence of former Finance Minister Ravi Karunanayake, Rauff Hakeem MP, Ex Deputy Mayor of Colombo M.T.M. Iqbal and former Provincial Councilor Nawzer Fowzie at the ceremony.
Also held Prefects Investiture Ceremony and distributed certificates to the students who obtain more than 100 and 70 marks scholarship exam year 2023 and Past Principal of the St. Sebastian Sinhala Maha Vidyalaya Ms. Shihana Aslam and other guests distributed certificates to the students at this event and old boy of the Vidyalaya A.L. Anver received a token of appreciation from the guest.
Serendib School Development Foundation Chairman Rizvi Saheed, Serendib Education Foundation President Fazal Amanulla, Inspiration Group President Nawaziya Farook, Memon Humanity Society Saleem Jafffar, Voice of Malay Rizwan Jaldeen along with Members of the PPA and SDS and students, teachers and parents were also present.
