RIYADH : Ambassador of Sri Lanka in Saudi Arabia, O.L. Ameer Ajwad, met with Deputy Minister for Laws and International Cooperation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Mishaal bin Ali Al-Balawi at the Ministry of Justice of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in Riyadh.
The two sides discussed the mutual cooperation in the fields of judicial matters and legal cooperation and reaffirmed their commitment to advancing in these areas. The meeting also focused on matters of bilateral interest, with particular emphasis on expediting the finalization of the bilateral agreements on the Transfer of Sentenced Persons and Mutual Legal Assistance between Sri Lanka and Saudi Arabia.
Ambassador was accompanied by Ms Damithri Samangika, Second Secretary/Head of Chancery and Sajeeth from the Embassy of Sri Lanka in Riyadh. l
