COLOMBO – Sri Lanka Muslim Media Forum accorded a farewell reception to Ambassador designate to Saudi Arabia O.L Ameer Ajwad at a city restaurant in Colombo on Thursday,April 25.
Ajwad who is the additional secretary at the ministry of foreign affairs had served as ambassador of Sri Lanka in Oman and had held various positions in Sri Lankan embassies in Singapore and Saudi Arabia.
Being a product of the Jamiah Naleemiah, Ajwad who is also lawyer,holds a Masters of Law LLM from the University of Ceylon.
The reception was chaired by President of Sri Lanka Muslim Media Forum and senior journalist N.M.Ameen in the presence of the executive members of the forum.
