COLOMBO — Sri Lanka Hajj Committee donated Rs. 5 million to the Ministry of Buddhasasana, Religious and Cultural Affairs for the reconstruction of religious places affected by the recent natural disaster.
The relevant cheque was handed over by the Chairman of the Hajj Committee, Chartered Accountant Riyaz Mihular, to the Minister of Buddhasasana, Religious and Cultural Affairs, Dr. Hiniduma Sunil Senevi at his Ministry on Monday December 8.
The Deputy Minister of Religious and Cultural Affairs, Munir Mulaffar, Director of the Department of Muslim Religious Affairs, M.S.M. Nawaz, and Hajj Committee Members, Professor M.S.M. Aslam and Y.L.M. Nawawi were also present at the event.
