ISTANBUL : The Zero Waste Summit began in Istanbul on Friday first Lady Her Excellency Emine Erdoğan was the chief guest at the 3 day event.
Addressing the Summit Environment Minister Ahamed stated : “I Emphasised on the need to mainstream elevating global youth enabling them to take up more responsible tasks & challenges in climate change mitigation and adaptation”
The zero-waste project was launched by the first lady with the aim of highlighting the importance of zero waste in fighting the climate crisis.
The event was organized by the Turkish government’s Ministry of Environment, Urban Planning and Climate Change.
