LONDON – A four-member Sri Lankan delegation is currently attending the International Ministerial Conference on Freedom of Religion or Belief which is being held in London through July 6, Wednesday.
The UK government is hosting the human rights conference to urge increased global action on Freedom of Religion or Belief (FoRB) for all.
Members of the Lankan delegation include Mohammed Hisham, Yamini Ravindran, Ermiza Tegal, Prashandini Udayakumar, Suchith Abeywickrema and Dishani Jayaweera. Sri Lankan High Commissioner in UK Saroja Sirisena is also heattending the conference/.
British high commissioner in Colombo, Sarah Hulton met the members of the delegation in Colombo before their departure to London.
