COLOMBO : Health workers in the Northern Province have been banned from using social media during duty hours.
Northern Province Health Services Director Dr. T. Sathyamurthy said that the action was taken based on the complaints received from the public.
However, permission has been granted for the use of mobile phones for duty purposes.
