SLAAPS officials meet New Zealand envoy to mark Administrative Professionals Week

COLOMBO — In celebration of Administrative Professionals Week 2026, the Sri Lanka Association of Administrative and Professional Secretaries (SLAAPS) had the distinct privilege of visiting the office of David Pine, New Zealand’s High Commissioner to Sri Lanka, Maldives, Pakistan, and Bangladesh, on Thursday, April 23.

To mark this special occasion, a commemorative flag was ceremonially pinned on the High Commissioner by Ruchira Costa, President of SLAAPS. This gesture symbolized recognition and appreciation of administrative professionals and their invaluable contributions across industries.

The visit was led by Ruchira Costa – President of SLAAPS, accompanied by Ruveena Uvais Cader – Advisor, Dumindra Jayawardena – Secretary, Thanuja Chandrasinghe – Treasurer, Harshanie Roy – Assistant Secretary, and Chathurini Kariyawasam Perera – Assistant Treasurer.

This meaningful engagement reflects the unity and commitment of SLAAPS in fostering professional excellence and strengthening international goodwill.
