DOHA : The new Ambassador-Designate of Sri Lanka to the State of Qatar, Ms. Roshan Sithara Khan Azard, assumed duties at the Embassy in Doha on 23 January 2025.
Ambassador-Designate Ms. Roshan Sithara Khan Azard is a Sri Lankan Foreign Service officer with over 26 years of experience. She worked as the Additional Secretary for SAARC and Latin America and the Caribbean prior to her arrival in Doha. During her career, she has served in various overseas Missions and in different capacities at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment & Tourism, Sri Lanka.
