COLOMBO — The Shuraifa Bridal Hair and Beauty Salon (Private) Limited, Negombo, held its annual Women’s Excellence Awards Ceremony 2026 at Hotel Sapphire, Wellawatte, Colombo, on Saturday, March 28.
The event was held under the patronage of the Shuraifa Bridal Hair and Beauty Salon (Private) Limited Director, Dr. Shuraifa Rahuman.
Popular film actor and producer Ms. Shanthana attended as the chief guest. Among the distinguished guests were Sarah Shiraj, Directress of Salon Shalook by Sarah; M.N. Fathima Safa, Director of Safa Learning Institute; Bridal Mehendi Academy Director Asma Faiz, Fathima Hajara, Director of Hajara Bridal and Beauty Salon; Aynul Nazreena, Directress of Naaz Academy of Arts , Aliya Salon and Tailoring Academy Direcress F.Z.M. Shafeeka, and Shereen Ameer Khan.
Students were awarded certificates and honors in various fields, including Bridal, Mehendi, Cake Design, Makeup, Henna Artist, Fashion Design, Hair and Beauty, Tailoring, and other successfully completed courses.
Awards were presented by the guests during the ceremony.Dr. Shuraifa Rahuman also presented mementoes to the invited guests. Students expressed their appreciation for her dedicated service to the community.A large number of students and parents attended and graced the occasion
