COLOMBO — Sri Lanka Scout Association – Colombo District Branch and 11th Colombo Scout Group – Zahira College Colombo jointly organised ” Iftar ” Ramadan breakfast ceremony held at the College Swimming poolside on Saturday February 21.
It was held under the patronage of Principal of the Zahira College Trizviiy Marikar.
Chief Scout Commissioner of the Sri Lanka Scout Association Attorney Manoj Nanayakkara was present as the chief guest.
Ihsaniyah Arabic College Vice Principal Ash Sheik M.F.M. Farood was present as guest speaker and he briefed on the. Significance of Fasting. In the holy month of Ramadan
District Commissioner Sri Lanka Scout Sampath Wijesinghe, Zahira College Principal Trizviiy Marikar and chief guest of the ceremony Chief Scout Commissioner Attorney Manoj Nanayakkara also addressed the gathering.
Assistant District Commissioner, District Scout Leaders, Scout Leaders, Cub and Singithi Akelas, Zahira College Board of Governors Secretary Nuzri Munsoor, Zahira College Scout Master in Charge A.M. Amanulla, students and teachers were also present. Event organiser H.F.M. Inthikaaf delivered the vote of thanks.
