RIYADH : The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expresses the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s welcome of the United Nations Human Rights Council’s unanimous adoption of a resolution on the implications of the unprovoked Iranian attacks against the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Kingdom of Bahrain, the State of Kuwait, the Sultanate of Oman, the State of Oatar, the United Arab Emirates, and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan on human rightSs.
The Ministry further underscores that the Human Rights Council’s adoption of the resolution during its 6ıst session, by consensus of its members, reflects the unified rejection by the international community of the Iranian attacks and its condemnation of these heinous acts as serious violations of human rights.
The Kingdom reiterates its condemnation of the Iranian attacks against the Kingdom and the countries of the region, which constitute a flagrant violation of states’ sovereignty and territorial integrity, and a clear violation of international conventions and international law. It further stresses that targeting states not party to the conflict constitutes a blatant act of aggression that cannot be justified or accepted.
