Saudi Arabia To  Host the 11th World Water Forum in 2027: A Global Gathering for Water Solutions!

COLOMBO The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has been selected to host the 11th World Water Forum in 2027. This announcement was made during the closing ceremony of the 10th World Water Forum held in Indonesia, which was attended by leaders, ministers, officials from 160 countries, and members of various international organizations.

The 11th World Water Forum, themed “Action for a Better Future,” underscores the Kingdom’s dedication to tackling global water challenges, bolstering regional and international water endeavors, and advancing the Sustainable Development Goals in consonance with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030.

In response to this development, Saudi Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture Engineer Abdulrahman bin Abdulmohsen Al-Fadhli emphasized that the substantial support and guidance from the Saudi leadership have elevated Saudi standards within the international water sector, culminating in the opportunity to host this significant global forum.

It is noteworthy that HRH Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman established the World Water Organization in Riyadh to solicit international support and collaborate with global entities in addressing the pressing challenges pertaining to water resources.
