COLOMBO : Sameera, Sri Lankan activist who was detained by Israeli soldiers at the Sumud Flotilla has now landed in Istanbul Turkiye following. her release from Tel Aviv.
The group which is looking after her interests in Colombo told Colombo Times on Thursday night on 21 May that the activist safely landed in Turkiye on Thursday evening and she has been waiting for the onward flight to Colombo. However , it was revealed that she may have to go for a health check-up before boarding the plane to Colombo . “ Therefore , the. exact date of her arrival is yet to be confirmed , “ the sources added .
