COLOMBO — Rotary District 3300 represents Rotary clubs across Malaysia, bringing together leaders, professionals, and volunteers committed to service above self. Since its establishment, the district has played a vital role in strengthening communities through impactful service projects, leadership development, and international collaboration. Over the years, Rotary District 3300 has evolved alongside Malaysia’s growth, responding to changing social needs while staying true to Rotary’s core values. Through strong club networks, dedicated leadership, and meaningful partnerships, the district continues to contribute to both local community development and Rotary’s global humanitarian mission.
Rotary District 3300 Malaysia Under the leadership of District Governor Edward Khoo Toh Hock with The Federation of Malaysian Sri Lankan Organizations (FOMSO) and with the coordination of PP Magandran Muthiah from Federation of Malaysian Sri Lankan Organisations and Sri Lanka Malaysia Business Chamber came forward to support the Ditwah victims which struck Sri Lanka’s eastern coast triggering the country’s worst flooding in two decades. The disaster impacted over 2.2 million people, caused over 410 deaths, and created a nationwide emergency, with significant damage to infrastructure and agriculture.
Event held on 8th of April 2026 at Hilton Colombo to felicitate and thank the partners involved in this Humanitarian work chief guest for the occasion was Rotary District 3300 –Malaysia District Governor Edward Khoo Toh Hock, Guest of Honour Past Rotary International President K.R Ravindran , also Rotary District 3220 Sri Lanka Maldives Governor Delvin Pereira , Sri Lanka Malaysia Business Council (SLMBC) President Marshad Barry , former ambassadors of Malaysia Daya Liyanage , Ibrhim Ansar , Air Chief Marshal Sumangala Dias and PP Magandran Muthiah with Rotarians from Malaysia and Sri Lanka participated at the event.
