
COLOMBO — The Nightmare, hosted by the Rotaract Club of Colombo West in collaboration with the Interact Club of Carey College and the Interact Club of Colombo North, was successfully held on Friday January 16 at Trace Expert City, Colombo and attracted a crowd of over 450 participants.
The event combined a motor show with a live DJ experience, bringing together automobile enthusiasts and music lovers on a single platform. The motor show featured several well-known automobile communities, including Black Out Crew, Drift Society, and AE Club SL, showcasing a range of customized and performance vehicles. A special highlight of the event was the appearance of Jeewan Sachintha, owner of Pink Auto Shop, who presented a selection of his vehicles to the audience.
The musical segment of the event featured a series of DJ performances throughout the evening. Uveen and Shenal opened the DJ party with a back-to-back set, followed by performances from DJ Vehan, DJ Vortex, and DJ Dixxa. The event concluded with a performance by the headlining DJ, Tah Sha.
The Nightmare was recognised as one of the most successful projects undertaken by the organizing clubs, reflecting strong collaboration, effective planning, and the growing engagement of youth-led initiatives within the local events scene.
