COLOMBO: Trade Minister Bandula Gunawardena told the media on Wednesday, January 12, that he has made arrangements for the sale of rice at modest prices to beat the Rice mafia in the country.
He said consumer will get Nadu Rice for Rs 105. And Samba for 130. There are moves by the Rice Mafia to sell these items for not less than Rs 300 per kilo.
