COLOMBO ; As the first moon (crescent) of the month of Ramadan has been sighted, Muslims in Sri Lanka will begin the month of fasting from Thursday February 19th.
The decision was taken at Wednesday’s 18th February evening conference at Colombo Grand Mosque.
