COLOMBO : Secretary of the Railway Drivers’ Association, Indika Dodangoda announced that power sets will be out of service from 12 noon on Wednesday (15).
He stated that the train services union was embarking on this trade union action, based on several demands.
Meanwhile, the station masters have decided to withdraw from the trade union action.
Chairman of the Railway Station Masters’ Association, Sumedha Somaratne stated that the decision was reached following a discussion with State Minister of Transport Dilum Amunugama.News First
