COLOMBO : A passenger has been killed after falling off an overcrowded moving train in the Bemmulla area along the main line.
Because of the ongoing rail strike, the few trains that were operating on main lines were overcrowded and commuters were travelling on footboard and on rooftop of the trains.
The passenger has reportedly fallen off a train plying from Colombo Fort to Polgahawela this Wednesday, evening July, (10)
