JAFFNA : As part of the 100 day awareness program by the North East Coordinating Committee, NECC dubbed as ” Voice of the people for the political solution” was held on Monday, August 22 at Gurunagar village in Divisional Secretariat of Jaffna.
A petition for the political solution was presented to social media in a honorable way by the general public; community based organizations representing fishermen and affected groups.
The request was only for the political solutions for equality and equity rights but not for either separation of the country or independent state.
Various of placards focusing on democratic rights of gathering and administrative power sharing were highlighted during the event at the location of Iranguthurai, Gurunagar.
