COLOMBO – The All Ceylon YMMA Conference has organized the annual Meelad un Nabi Celebrations (Prophet Muhammad’s Birthday) on Monday 16th September at 4.30 p.m. at the Dr. A.M.A. Azeez Auditorium of the All Ceylon YMMA Conference. Colombo. It will be held under the chairmanship of National President of the YMMA Conference Amhar Shareef (Attorney at Law).
Moulavi Hafiz Ehsaan Qadiri will be the guest speaker of the ceremony, said YMMA Conference Religious Committee Chairman Fawzan Anver.
UMMU ZAVAYA – The “122nd Annual Shamaailil Muhammadiya Thamam “ programme organized by the Board of Trustees of Ummu Zavaya Mosque Colombo to mark the Prophet Muhammad’s Birthday will be held on Monday, 16th September 2024 at 8. 00 a.m. at the Ummu Zavaya Mosque, M. J. M. Lafir Mawatha, Colombo 12. It will be held under the patronage of Ajward Al Fassy Arabic College Principal and Chief Imam of the Ummu Zavaya Mosque Kaleefathush Shazulee Ahamed Soofi ( Mahlari ).
The Sri Lanka Broadcasting Corporation (SLBC) Muslim Service will broadcast the programme live from 8.30 am to 10.30 a.m.
