| Prophet Muhammad’s Birthday Celebration at Borella Jumma Mosque. RUZAIK FAROOK COLOMBO — The Board of Trustees of the Borella Jumma Mosque had organized Inter Religious Ceremony and distributed dry rations packs to the needy families to mark the Prophet Muhammad’s Birthday on Sunday October 9 at the Mosque premises. It was held under the patronage of President of the Mosque M.R.M. Awthad. Officer in Charge of the Borella Police Ranjan Samarasinghe was chief guest. Buddhist, Hindu and Islam religious dignitaries, Borella South Grama Seva Officer Mrs. H.K. Lakshmi, Borella Praja Police Committee President Thissa Ganegala, Police Officers and Trustees of the Mosque were also present. |
