COLOMBO ; The 75th Annual Convention, the Platinum Jubilee (1950 – 2025) of the All Ceylon Young Men’s Muslim Association (YMMA) Conference was held at the Cinnamon Life, Hotel. Colombo on Monday,Oct.20 with Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya as the chief guest, and Deputy Speaker Dr .Rizvi Salih as the guest of honour.

The event presided over by Amhar M Shareef -National President of All Ceylon YMMA Conference, drew an audience of more than 400 people from all walks of life including diplomats, well-wishers , representatives from branch YMMAs, members of the business community, members of the media and distinguished guests .
Ashroff Rumi Chairman Board of Trustee All Ceylon YMMA Conference , former secretary Asif Shukri – National Secretary of the All Ceylon YMMA Conference and its patron Khalid Farouk took the center stage of the conference .
The Y Personality of the Year 2025 was awarded to former minister Dr.M.L.A.M. Hisbullah, while the Lifetime Award was presented to its patron Khalid Farook who has served the organization for more than 60 years .
The other awardees were former Presidents of the organization, Branch Presidents and members of the parent body who have rendered remarkable. services to the nation .
The celebrations came to an end. with the vote of. thanks proposed by the secretary general of the organization Ihthizan Hussaindeen followed by a reception .
