COLOMBO : Minister of health Dr Keheliya Rambukwella has issued an Extraordinary Gazette notification reducing the prices of 60 medicines under the National Medicine Regulatory Authority Act. Accordingly, the prices of these medicines will be reduced by 16 percent and the new regulations will come into effect from June 26.
These medicines include Amoxicilin + Clavulanic, Clarithromycin, Axithromycin, Azithromycin, Atenolol, Atorvastatin, Insulin, Thyroxin, Insulin and Metfomin.
