COLOMBO: Young Women’s Muslim Association , YWMA President Mrs.Fawaza Thaha and its Secretary Mrs. Suraiya Rizwi met the new Deputy High commissioner Ms. Zunaira Latif at the Pakistan Embassy on Wednesday, December 24.
The need for the awareness of women in the present times and women participation in the development of the country were among the topics discussed and in ways how Pakistan can be of assistance to the YWMA in its endeavours were discussed at the meeting. The services of the YWMA was highly appreciated. by the deputy High Commissioner.
Mr. Iftikhar Hussain, Second Secretary was also present at the meeting.
