COLOMBO – The Prefects Investiture Ceremony of St. Mary’s Balika Vidyalaya, Colpetty Colombo was held at the School Hall recently. It was held under the patronage of Principal Mrs. W.G. Upendra Lakmali.
Western Province Deputy Director of Education Mathematics Nayani Perera was present as chief guest and pinned the maiden badge to the head prefect Vihangi Nethmini at the ceremony.
Special Guests Commander Sagara Chandrasoma of Sri Lanka Navy, Assistant Director of Informal Education and Counseling, Colombo Education Zonal Office R. Wijesinghe, Member of the Colombo West Electoral Board of the Podujana Peramuna Sampath Fernando were grace the event. Teachers, Students and Parents were also present.
