COLOMBO — Sri Lanka Rupavahini Corporation and Sri Lanka Broadcasting Corporation English newsreader Shareefa Thahir received the Golden Business Excellence Award 2025 at a ceremony held at City of Dreams, Cinnamon Life, on Sunday, December 21.
She was honoured with the Excellence in Radio and Television News Reading (English) – Female of the Year award. The award was presented by renowned Sri Lankan film actress Sangeetha Weeraratne.
