COLOMBO: The use of a plot of land valued at Rs. 44.5 million, belonging to the wife of drug trafficker Ranasinghe Arachchige Saman Kumara, alias “Ada,” has been temporarily suspended.
The action follows an investigation by the Police Illegal Assets Division.
The property, located on Pahala Katuneriya Road, consisting of 24.8 perches of land includes a house.
Police stated that the property was frozen under the provisions of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act.
