COLOMBO: Sri Lankan capital  during the past two days. Hotels and restaurants closed due to ‘ No Gas’ which arrived on Tuesday,March 8, while long queues for fuel coupled with power cuts in some areas. Enhanced dollar rate introduced to Non-Resident Sri Lankans while the common man left on the streets for his daily needs.

Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa admitted on Tuesday, March 8 that the country is undergoing a bad time. He was speaking at an event to mark the International Women’s Day on Tuesday in Colombo
