COLOMBO : The Public Health Inspectors Union has issied a stern warning for people to take seriously of the continuous fever that attack them these days.
An undiagnosed viral flu is spreading in the country at present, in addition to the COVID-19 virus and the Dengue fever, the Public Health Inspectors’ Union (PHI) said on Wednesday.Feb. 2.
Upul Rohana, the President of the PHI Union urged the general public to seek immediate medical attention if any fever-like symptoms persists
“The outbreak of Dengue Fever is also showing signs of an epidemic in the country with a vast majority of cases reported in the urban areas including the Western Province,” he said
Whilst pointing out that Dengue cases are increasingly being detected at construction sites, Government, and private institutions, the PHI President urged the people to remain cautious.
